Suits
Our team suits will be available through Out Of Breath Sports’ online shop through April 15th for delivery by beginning of the season. We will talk with OOB about a second order in May.
Alternative to the Team suit, an all black suit can be used for meets. For males, jammers or briefs, and for females a one-piece suit. You can pick the brand that fits your swimmer best.
Please note – The female Team suits will begin a long-term switch to all black this year to increase shipping speed and availability in sizes. Please do not feel the need to buy a new suit if you have a red-trimmed suit that fits well. These styles will coordinate well.

Goggles are the only other piece of equipment that you need to provide, though you may find you will be providing a couple pairs over the summer as they tend to get misplaced and migrate often. For younger swimmers, Tyr Swimple, Speedo VAnquisher jr., or speedo hydrospex are very popular. If you your child wears corrective lenses, prescriptions goggles are available through swimoutlet.com (and other online retailers) for about the same price as regular goggles.
AKST will provide a silicone team cap to be worn at meets and at practice if desired. Other equipment such as fins and kick boards are also provided by the team but if your swimmer would prefer to use their own, they are welcome to do so.
